World Series Snowmobile Championship

Hosted by PVR & USSA

Closing out the 2027 oval racing season, the World Series Snowmobile Championship brings together two of the sport’s premier racing organizations—Pro Vintage Racing (PVR) and the United States Snowmobile Association (USSA)—for an action-packed weekend at the legendary Eagle River half-mile oval. This unique event showcases the rich history and continued evolution of snowmobile racing, featuring everything from meticulously restored vintage machines to powerful late-model race sleds.

Fans can experience the sights, sounds, and unmistakable aroma of two-stroke racing as competitors battle ski to ski on the most famous track in snowmobile racing. With championship points, season-ending bragging rights, and prestigious World Series titles on the line, drivers leave nothing in reserve. Expect intense competition, dramatic late-race restarts, and thrilling passes as racers push their machines to the limit in pursuit of victory.

Racing begins Saturday afternoon and continues into the evening under the lights, creating a spectacular atmosphere for fans. The USSA Pro Star Cup Series takes center stage alongside a variety of popular PVR classes, giving spectators the opportunity to watch nearly five decades of snowmobile racing technology and innovation compete on the same historic oval.

Sunday is dedicated entirely to Pro Vintage Racing competition, where some of the sport’s most passionate racers and beautifully prepared machines take to the track for a full day of championship racing. From classic fan favorites to rare and historic race sleds, every lap celebrates the heritage and traditions that helped build snowmobile racing into what it is today.
